Destructive Footprints

Textile and apparel industry walking with fast fashion is producing 20% water waste (billions of tons of water) and 10% of the total greenhouse gas emissions over the globe. Sadly, the textile industry is the main culprit for plastics entering the oceans and contributes a huge part in the total energy consumption as well. Cotton Farming alone is responsible for 24% of insecticides and 11% of pesticides.

In the end, Out-Of-Fashion clothes end up burdening the oceans and landfills; approximately 85% end up as waste, and merely 15% is being recycled.
